I love the nipple mouse. I find it much less irritating on my wrists than a trackpad.

As a parent of a newborn who is my first child: no, nipples are not intuitive. You have to get the baby to open his/her mouth and put it around the breast, bringing the nipple up to the roof of their mouth.

Before there is a baby to latch onto a nipple, ask yourself how the baby was conceived. I'm pretty sure that's the most intuitive interface among all mammals.

It's always amazed me that we seem to try harder to protect children from seeing a nipple than we do to prevent them from seeing depictions of people being killed.

I'd have agreed with you once, but I broke the trackpad on a ThinkPad a couple of years ago and out of apathy i switched to the nipple mouse and I haven't looked back. It takes more practice but it has excellent precision and infinite movement.

They show people blowing their head off with a gun in the afternoon news while children are watching, but omg, a boob or even worse a nipple they go crazy! This ban has to be taken back, or all other means to browse reddit must be banned as well, including all google browsers, etc.

Anyone who believes that the nipple is an intuitive interface and doesn't require learning time has never been with a mother trying to breastfeed a newborn in its first weeks of life. There is no such thing as an intuitive interface, only some that are easier to learn than others.

I've photographed a lot of burlesque events, and although none of the photos contain overt nudity, the mere presence of a breast with nipple concealed is enough to get your photos summarily removed by Smugmug's staff.
