Marmaduke Explained has the benefit that Marmaduke is worse.

If you try to just call `speak_dynamic_box(marmaduke)`, which is how easy it was for `speak_static`, the compiler will error.

We get 3 pages of comics (my favorite part of the newspaper, especially bizarro, foxtrot, and marmaduke) and 30 pages of news.

Pay no mind that not serving as a broadcast medium for marmaduke strips, crosswords, and omnipresent wire reports hardly counts as a diminishment.

Instead they concentrate on rehashing rumor, regurgitating press releases and wire reports, and making sure everyone gets their fill of marmaduke and beatle bailey.

It is definitely inspired by Marmaduke Explained, and we love that blog.

As marmaduke says in his post, once you have a lot of components in a system you may be able to use existing components to wire new capabilities.

The reality is that it was mostly drudge work, just going through the motions to ensure that classified ads, lazy PR puff pieces, marmaduke cartoons, and regurgitated wire reports got churned out day to day.

@marmaduke that is definitely something you can do in a library.

I'll give you a hint, a newspaper ain't about reprinting marmaduke, or the weather, or crossword puzzles, or classified ads, or even obituaries.

Newspapers have a self-identification as this whole broadcast / gatekeeper enterprise, they have been having a hard time imagining they could be anything else (such as an organization that doesn't print classified ads, wire reports, or marmaduke comics).

Do you publish a new paper every few years (“Marmaduke’s Modules 3.0”), so that you can show ‘productivity’?

(I had an Intel server board that had the Marmaduke cartoon character screened on it, under the "Slot 2" retainer.

Probably because your only options to get them on mac/windows are to download binaries from some random guy off the internet (who the hell is "Marmaduke" and why should I trust him?), or compiling it yourself (~1 hour build time on a mid-tier desktop CPU).

Garfield may be terrible, but have you ever read Marmaduke?
