Sucks to be in the segment with the office layabout

Maybe spoiled, narcissistic, layabout parents have the same kind of kids?

Whether they layabout is up to them. Historically, if you go way back, everyone grew/hunted their own food and built their own houses etc.

I for one would love to be a bohemian layabout all day doing nothing. Like a cat staring out a window listlessly wasting the clock.

It bothered my father tremendously as he thinks not wearing a watch is a symbol of being a "layabout". But of course I always had a watch or clock on me or near me, just not a wrist watch.

There were always some layabout people and families who were always sucking on the public teat, but that's just the way it was, and no one really got overly upset.
