Does that mean that you can use Kierkegård and Kierkegaard interchangeably?

It's like Soeren Kierkegaard said, you can't pass experience on through writing, it has to be lived.

Still as Kierkegaard reminded us: people lay so much store by freedom of expression, but not so much for freedom of thought.

Or, one could also say that Nietszche, Heidegger, and Kierkegaard just had A LOT of bad days and wrote some books about it...

I didn't realize Kierkegaard talked about things like that.

On the upside, I do manage to get through all of the books related to my field, so the stack mostly contains the remaining works of Kierkegaard that I've missed, the complete works of William Blake, Russian literature (translated), mathematics texts, and small stack of untranslated Japanese novels.

This reminds me of one my favorite analogies in literature, from Kierkegaard's Either/Or: “What is a poet?

At my university, we had an "easy" philosophy course, focusing on Sartre and Kierkegaard, existensialism.

So if Danish is like German, you can't call Kierkegaard Kierkegård, but they're still the "same" surname and appear next to each other in the phone book.

Kierkegaard did his studies more than 150 years ago, maybe it's time to use his findings in our life.

But in these terms, you should think of »Kierkegård« and »Kierkegaard« in the same manner as 'Philip' or « Philippe ».

Just be warned I named my son Soren for the founder of Existential Philosophy Soren Kierkegaard.
