You don't have to turn into Jocko Willinck or become a desert father, but just realizing that you can just grit through stuff even though it may suck, it's so empowering.

And speaking of the military, Jocko Willink's Extreme Ownership idea is a similar concept to "servant leadership" without the cognitive dissonance.

Jocko Willink's outlook of "extreme ownership" is something that resonates with me.

Jocko Willink is a similar "Navy seal teaching you the secrets to becoming a badass" but his approach seems a lot more sane and useful, and has been more effective in his own life.

So the loop here is you cast a wide net with Rogan, then niche them down to your Jocko’s, Friedman’s, etc.
