Probably one of ghostery, ublock or umatrix takes care of those for me.

I stopped watching television years ago, and thanks to Ghostery I see few if any Internet ads.

I understand that you can do something similiar with tracking pixels, but I'm under the impression that Ghostery blocks them.

I don't know why everybody doesn't use something like Ghostery by default for all websites and then whitelist the ones they really trust.

I just tried an experiment turning my various blockers off - I've got uBlock, Ghostery and Flashcontrol and had 26 tabs open with random stuff in Chrome.

What I want is adblock/ublock/ghostery for my phone...

That means Adblock, Ghostery, Noscript, and whatever is required to ensure that websites don't collect data about me when I don't want to.

Which leads to people browsing with things like ad blockers and Ghostery.

Ghostery has its own mobile browser on Android, blocking ads and trackers.
