If someone knows of something like uBlock with default whitelists, I want to know and try it.

Probably one of ghostery, ublock or umatrix takes care of those for me.

Have you tried Firefox and uBlock (maybe uBlock0, I forget) on a reasonable Android phone?

From another thread (still relevant I think): uBlock, NoScript and RequestPolicy are my tools to control the content my web browser displays.

Furthermore, I installed uBlock in Firefox for Android because ads were getting so bad that it was essentially impossible to view some sites.

I also wonder what the effect of enabling https everywhere and uBlock.

Then again between Ghostery and uBlock, I don't see most of it.

All other browsing, ublock origin, only session cookies, not logged in With right-click profile switching, it's really not much more hassle than switching between windows.

Firefox and ublock origin don't require root.

Thats one of the reasons I like uBlock origin- supposedly, it says the ad was displayed/clicked on a webpage, which means I don't deal with ads and websites don't deal with money loss.

Ublock Origin I already use but I hadn't heard of umatrix, that looks like a very handy tool, thanks!
