This hasn't been my experience nor the experience of anyone I know who uses Ritalin or Aderall (or Dexedrine).

Dexedrine is dextroamphetamine (commonly prescribed for ADD and other things, like staying awake).

From what I understand, Ritalin is prescribed precisely because it has much less of that 'euphoria' than, say, Dexedrine.
