This is getting less common in the UK, usually when a new combi boiler is installed the tank is removed / uninstalled.

Gas fired combi boilers (with centrally heated [pumped] cycling water) are pretty much the default in the UK.

Or most of the fooling around with a combi precision thermostat discussion is to get a sous vide like effect...

With a slow cook in a combi oven, the characteristics would be still different.

A combi oven does what you want: it creates a temperature-controlled humid environment, but uses steam instead of a circulating water bath.

I wouldn't consider purchasing any standalone oven appliance for this price unless it was combi or cvap.

For this price, for a so-called "smart" oven, there is no excuse that it's not a combi or cvap oven.

Houses with "combi" boilers should always have hot water on demand.
