People use claud code because of claud the model and not claud the harness.

There is no national supply risk from Boeing using Claud Code just beacause Anthropic won’t agree to domestically-surviving killbots.

That’s not really an either or situation, you can have 7 team members with Claud Code and 1 Jr without.

Up until some time ago claud code's preferred install was a npm i, wasn't it?

Then I take that and write my literature review narrative, which I then hand over to claud for proofreading.

I use chatGPT mostly private (use claud code for work for instance) and I prefer that memories travel across chats.

I can report all kinds of productivity using Claud AI and Code.

Anyways I don't have the knowledge as to how to audit this (claud pro) to confirm what feels like an onboard at any cost business behavior.

But yesterday it was able to track down the cause of a very obscure bug having to do with a pom.xml loading two versions of the same library - in my experience I've spent a full day on that type of bug and Claud was able to figure it out from the exception in just minutes.

I still cannot understand what "Claud helping to conduct attacks" could possibly mean.

Ex: Saying "juniors who rely on Copilot/Claud/etc become lazy and can create low quality code without learning how to do better" is night and day different from what you're saying.

In the interview the engineer says "When Claud Code came out almost a year ago, I started dabbling with web based tools..." and "When it first came out I had so many ideas and tried all these different things", so he had clearly already used extensively it for a year.

They want the real human to appear to be responsible for accepting Claud's poor output.

Hard to see what xAI has to offer against Gemini, Claud, ChatGPT.
