They are trying to get more bussiness on g+ and refering to the new Android as chocolat.

Never heard of Chocolat before - but it is a very attractive OS X app!

It's probably time for me to take another look at Chocolat as well.

I periodically fire up Sublime and Atom for fun, but Chocolat is most comfortable for me.

Its interface reeked of 2004 but Chocolat was quite modern.

The auto complete in Chocolat is just mind-blowing.

I currently use Chocolat for code editing, which is beautifully elegant and I love it, but there are 25 little tiny things that I really wish I could fix.

I am not sure you will ever see the kind of ecosystem that TextMate and Sublime Text enjoy, but if you can see past its faults, chocolat is a pretty nice little editor.

And for certain items, you just can't find anything that even matches the supermarket form of it in France: take Pains au chocolat, most of them scream of utter failure in Japan when you bite into them.

I bought Chocolat (a purchase mainly instigated by the hilarious "the demo expired so it still works, but only with Comic Sans font" gimmick).

That is indeed a real screenshot of an editor for OS X, called Chocolat[1].

At least 3) is adressed with Chocolat, an other text editor for Mac OS.

Chocolat is native, fits in with OSX perfectly, and at least for me, achieves the perfect sweet spot between customizable and minimalist.
