I don't get the impression that Schwitzgebel takes analytic philosophy very seriously, which is something I find very refreshing about him (compared to other philosophers of consciousness such as Chalmers).

I would read Penrose, Dennett, Chalmers, Tononi, Searle, Putnam and many others.
