There was a much lower level of ethyl hexyl acrylate found in North Fork Little Beaver Creek.

Off the top of my head there's methyl acrylate, vinyl acetate, acetic acid, many more.

Apparently Samsung was using Nickel directly on the skin, and an acrylic alternative called acrylate that also has been known to cause irritation.

Or as I have said on occasion, brutal acrylate.

Personally as a nearby resident I'd be more immediately worried about the combustion of all the leaked Butyl Acrylate producing Acrolein than I would be about the potential PCB's.

You'd want to look for the species that were on the train, of course, but also the various combustion products (which could be more hazardous than their source materials) - the list I've seen is vinyl chloride, benzene, butyl acetate, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethylhexyl acrylate and isobutylene, plus some other petroleum products.

Also, it's worth noting that the page is for "Ethyl acrylate", not "ethylhexyl acrylate".

(Another notable diff is that ABC describes ethylhexyl acrylate as a "carcinogen", linking to a CDC page as a cite.

At any rate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate is *also* a "Group 2B: possibly carcinogenic".

NPR's exposition reads differently: "ethylhexyl acrylate, which can cause headaches, nausea, and respiratory problems in people exposed to it;").
