While Adderall and Vyvanse are quite similar, the major difference is that Vyvanse is not a stimulant until it is metabolized by the liver.

There's really no high, there's basically 0 recreational benefit to vyvanse (at least at the dosage I take).

I try to take weekends off of my Vyvanse and do skip at least Sundays every week.

You should try vyvanse, I used to take Ritalin and then my doctor trailed me on vyvanse and it lasts the entire day with far less negative side affects than Ritalin.

I was on Vyvanse for 3 years and I never had any dependence or tolerance issues.

My experience with Vyvanse has been 1000x that of Adderall.

I was under the impression that Vyvanse was a more classic amphetamine than Adderall.

Truth be told though, I take Vyvanse and it's done wonders for me.

Adderall worked well but gave my headaches and some other minor side effects, my doctor recommended Vyvanse and it worked pretty much the same without the headaches.

At this point I take one 70mg Vyvanse capsule a day.

The combination of Vyvanse and these techniques has made a difference, though I've eliminated the pomodoros as it just flat out doesn't work for me.

Why'd you switch from adderall to vyvanse?

For anyone who wants to consider Adderall or Concerta, please do yourself a favor and look into Vyvanse.

I compose music and write creatively, and Adderall (and Vyvanse) give me the ability to choose where my focus/attention goes.

If you experiment, I wouldn't take more than 20mg of Adderall XR or 50mg of Vyvanse, and I'd start lower than that.
