Unfortunately, the maintainer of go-lang.cat-v.org, Uriel (luriel on HN / @leuriel on Twitter) passed away in the last year.

Go threads aren't as fun to read without uriel scolding non-believers for their bad taste.

The reason Uriel was a bad hellban is that he wasn't incorrigibly toxic.

This stopped about when uriel died so I just assumed it was him, but maybe it's still going on HN.

You can use any internal format you like without need for byte order marks, which I think is what uriel particularly hated about UTF-32.
