I haven't seen a single problem with it over the southeastern US. I'd expect the only people who know it's broken are those who have an issue nearby their house, or geeks who read articles about people who do. The 99%?

It involves a lot of inner demons and mindsets that date to my childhood growing up dirt-poor in rural southeastern NC. But what it boils down to lately it this: I'm 40. I'm not getting any younger.

Edit: to the comment below, my old next door neighbor's 'star football player' but C- son got fired as a prison guard after beating the pulp out of an inmate who 'insulted his mama' just 6 months after graduating HS - the stereotype is true, especially so in the southeastern USA. This is just one of many examples.

Perhaps, at some point, self-medicating with things you pretend are human in a one-bedroom apartment in southeastern Michigan isn't so different than self-medicating with travel.

The primary textual sources on the region are Chinese, but the city described here may pre-date most of those sources - the earliest of which mostly described Funan, a city-state by the Mekong river in far southeastern Cambodia near the modern Vietnamese border.
