The thing is I really liked Sicario and Arrival, but really hated his blade runner and dune.

The movie Sicario is basically premised off this idea of getting a LE Officer onboard for legality’s sake.

That is why public can get fire power and conduct operations to wipe clean disobedient politician similar nature to sicario.

While Dune strikes a similar note visually, Sicario does get pretty kinetic at moments - so it's not his only note.

The part when Arrakeen is on fire reminded me of the fighting in Sicario after the Juarez mob boss is arrested.

At the end of the day policy bros just want to make sicario reality.

I'd like this for subway escalator sounds, I loved one somewhere in Prague city center which made exactly Sicario soundtrack rhytm.

Also Prisoners and Enemy were impactful imo (and Sicario of course).

The backstory, though, is the victim in that video is a rival cartel sicario who threatened to burn alive the daughter of some other cartel boss.

It's interesting how they work to gain trust: just finance movies like Sicario so people accept they have no other option but to break the law.

What did you think about Sicario and Arrival?

A notable counterexample is Sicario, but I wouldn't call it a "Hollywood action movie."

Meanwhile, “Blade Runner”, “Arrival”, “Prisoners”, “Sicario” are all great.

Sicario too, from the same director, I generally think he does a fantastic job with audio mixes.

How do you feel about more modern movies like Sicario?

I agree that Enemy, Sicario, and Prisoner are very good movies, not among my favorites but certainly much better than his newer stuff.
