However, if you're a shipper with an account, UPS will discount your shipping below list price if you do a lot of business with them.

And for the situation at hand, they'll find medication available at most pharmacies - the problem isn't that the contents are illegal (they're not per se), it's that the shipper is guilty only of paperwork violations!

That may be a good policy, but it's clear that UPS and FedEx (and DHL, and any other shipper you've ever come across) would never get that kind of offer.

As a prior commenter noted, shippers will likely raise rates to compensate (particularly when you're a large shipper, rates tend to be negotiated anyway), or adjust policies to make refunds scarcer.

More than Alibaba, I would be weary of any firm that has the label "drop-shipper" anywhere on its site.

The success rate varies but all three have caused packages to get lost, sent back to the shipper, or I'd get a "we don't know where your package is".

Stock "deal of the day" items, top sellers, small items (not worth cost of shipping but buyers willing to drive to get), and ship-to-store (lowered shipping, don't worry about shipper leaving it on porch to get stolen).
