If you're looking to spend money, Thomas Handy Sazerac barrel proof rye is fantastic.

I think a better analogy would be: FP => I'll have a Sazerac Imperative => Serve me a Sazerac Imperative programming isn't devoid of abstractions; it just has different ones.

Even Sazerac has a bunch of crappy mixers and vodkas in their portfolio.

I had the chance to taste some Sazerac Rye recently and I'm not really into Rye.

Heaven Hill and Sazerac put out some pretty great stuff.

I guess I'd start by pointing out that one of the most highly-regarded whiskies in the world, and one of the hardest to get, is the Buffalo Trace antique series Thomas Handy Sazerac rye.

Shame:( Also, the "original" pre-rye Sazerac was done with Cognac, gotta try that at some point as well.

The best price/value ratio in my mind is "baby Sazerac" a.k.a.

"It is imperative that you give me a Sazerac!"

Of course, they trace back to Sazerac, which is a pretty big company; just look at all the stuff Barton Brands (also owned by Sazerac) sells.

Sazerac did an experiment where they the same product in 5, 10, 15, and the standard 53 gallon barrels.

I have yet to try the Sazerac, having 3 bottles of rye at home...
