I thought about it like that : since the one whos cost is 1 is a good roamer he should get each of the other ones? This looks too damn easy?

At least there's more networks and as a roamer you're not bound to a specific network. But it does raise a problem once more networks start doing this.

But every potential user of roamer does need to have pip installed, and know something about it...

Emacs mostest problem : too many features unless you spend 5 years in it I liked that roamer has a similar idea, the name/hash lines seems very straightforward. Also a bit of acme in it where text as a bit of meaning.

Not every potential user of roamer is a Python package developer.

Car lock radio devices had a man-in-the-middle attack vector where a repeater could be set up by the car, and a roamer with another would walk thru the mall until they got close to you by accident. Then your car would unlock.

Entitled "free roamer" cat owners are the worst - and breaking leash laws in just about every jurisdiction out there. I have zero problems trapping trespassing cats and turning them over to animal control.

Even if I am not a frequent roamer, I changed country every now and then. Whatsapp already shows how painful is to use ephemeral phone numbers as identity: when you change your number, even with their migration procedure, you still have to notify all your contacts, because at most numbers are authentication, not identification.

I miss the good old days; dailling NPA-NXX-7626 to reach a roamer, having to copy call records to magnetic tape to send off to GE for roaming calls, manually tuning combiners with my spectrum analyzer, calibrating audio levels on DS-0 cards using 1004 Hz tones, etc... it truly was a wireless telephone network.
