Profundity in a sentence as a noun

The rest of the piece tries so hard at profundity that it ends up being mundane.

Being a father of three, I can attest to the profundity of that statement. It makes me smile though.

What I think happens is that true profundity happens to people who are sort of on a good path to find it already.

Give it 48 hours and Boing Boing, HuffPo, Medium, etc will all have long posts revealing the hidden profundity to you.

Is it an attempt to imbue each line with a sense of profundity? Or is it a simple matter of confusing sentences for paragraphs?

Isn't it telling to the profundity of the problem when we're initially not sure what to do with a problem so fundamental? Kind of like an indebted person taking a long time to discover that he must make more money and spend less than he has.

In my opinion, the profundity IS the feeling, the experience - there is no separation. your philosophy seems to come from a paradigm of knowledge trumping experience, but mine is just the opposite.
