When someone goes on deviantart and the like, they want to see art produced by people, not to have to wade through oceans of AI-generated pigswill before reaching the flesh-and-blood person. In my mind, art is meant to have at least some amount of communication between artist and viewer; no one is communicating anything by typing "trending on artstation" into midjourney then heading off to lunch while it spits out a thousand images.
