Haven’t seen a new Oona post in a long time and this, as usual, was worth the wait.

The thing that really surprises a lot of people is that Oona does this sort of thing in her spare time.

I agree; Oona is a modern genius when it comes to signal processing.

Always a huge pleasure when Oona posts something.

So I have to ponder how bouba/kiki diverged into kepick/oona.

Written by Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, it stars the writers as a pair of hapless burglars attempting to break into the large, modernist house of a couple—played by Denis Lawson and Oona Chaplin—to steal a painting.

I was given a similar "test" in high school, although the names given were Kepick and Oona.

There were some other questions as well, such as a hypothetical about which shape was male and which female (strong preference in the class towards "Oona" being female).

His granddaughter, Oona Chaplin is a bit salty about this in her documentary "Hollywood Exiles", but the reality is he wasn't a US citizen so it probably wasn't a good idea to consort with the Russians while living the US.

But the same preference was there: "kepick" with its "sharp" sounds favored the angled drawing, "Oona" the more undulating.

Oona's blog posts are consistently bangers; always a treat when she posts a new one.

Oona Räisänen transcribed the recording, and translated the Finnish and Swedish parts into English.

Funnily enough, this isn't the first time Oona's RDS adventures have been on HN[1].
