If their spec is to perform routine modernisation of websites, then this hype is completely unwarranted.

The modernisation (as in taking features from the old languages into the newer ones) of C++, C#, Java, Obj-C etc.

The H on the end confuses people because it's usually not really a H, it's a modernisation of the séimhiú.

However it has had a multi-decade modernisation and military build-up which has drastically changed this situation.

And yet another modernisation of the web platform sabotaged by Apple and their misguided (malicious?) refusal to update their devices continually.

The second facet (modernisation & aimed at small users) is what appeals to startups.

And our planning system makes it unlikely (again, depressingly) that any work will be done on grid modernisation or building energy infrastructure.

Its economic modernisation has already reduced this figure by several hundred million head.

A modernisation that simplifies, maintains backwards/forwards compatibility and reuses established libraries and tooling.

Arguably caused by either nationalism which was an outgrowth of their forced modernisation; or caused by encirclement and the risk of losing their new empire.

But backwards people like Ferdinand the 7th cut down the modernisation of Spain which could boost us up to the level of France if not more.

It would be interesting to see plots of per capita oil consumption against population over time to see to the proportions of which the problem is being driven by current lifestyle/modernisation trends and by global population growth.
