You know, it honestly didn't occur to me that the title of this article could be construed as misogynous. But your comment...

Apparently, the facts are misogynous. Damn, damn facts.

It would be a lot different if the reaction to Richard's was less extreme and less misogynous in character.

As far as I know men behave the same way and thus this article comes across as misogynous as it tries to portray women as being unfair or something.

Most people don't consider the mere statistical description of aggregate group behavior "misogynous". Nor should they.

It's a misogynous analogy. If we call it out we can make the world a better place, where everyone is actually equal and break the horrible let's-pretend-we're-equal-while-holding-some-people-down status quo.

What Faraone showed was that while the misogynous view was alive and well, it was coupled with a nearly opposite misandrous view as well. In other words, women were portrayed both as dangerously sexually insatiable and seductive during some parts of their lives but virtuous against the insatiable male in others.

If someone who is embarking on a project to expose and discuss misogyny suddenly finds themselves on the receiving end of vicious misogynous attacks, would it not make sense to bring that to the fore? After all, the sheer viciousness of the attacks only serves to prove that misogyny is alive and well, and most importantly, damaging.
