Can someone explain why both answers A and B are not valid on the metacarpal problem?

Was fortunate to walk (ride) away with only one broken bone (4th metacarpal).

Another approach is to hit Control in its default corner location with the bone below the pinky (fifth metacarpal) instead of the pinky itself.

Assuming average case, most of the complaints in this thread can be solved by using the side of the palm (top of fifth metacarpal) to engage C.

The thumb's metacarpal comes out basically from the base of the wrist, and its distal phalanx would end about where the proximal phalanx of the other fingers start.

I completely shattered my second metacarpal in my right hand (my dominant hand) and did extensive damage to the surrounding tendons, ligaments, and skin.

That may be the impact for some people, but for others, who can now get another metacarpal around to the other side of the phone, it will be easier.

On some desktop keyboards (like mine) it's also possible to press each control key with the metacarpal phalangeal joint on the respective hand- that's the bit of bone and sinew at the base of the pinky finger [1].

Conversely, I broke my hand about a month ago, fourth metacarpal into four pieces with a 7mm displacement, and I didn't even seek treatment for a week and a half because I thought it couldn't be broken because I had never before broken a bone and expected it to be obvious from pain, but the sensation didn't even register to me as pain.

The "correct" answer is this: The predicted height increase in centimeters for one centimeter increase in the first metacarpal bone...as far as I can tell, the answer written for sentient humans would be something like: As the length of the metacarpal bone increases, so does height.

I would think the correct answer should be something like: "The expected height on in centimeters for any person with a first metacarpal bone length between 4 and 5 centimeters." That may not be perfectly technical wording, but I think it's the general message the line conveys.

"ring" + "finger" = "fourth" + "metacarpal" We never would have thought to normalize the names of different body parts, but with word2vec, it does it for us.

I think the design could be improved - first by avoiding the weird inverted question/answer position if at all possible, second by avoiding capital letters, third by using easier to parse wording: "the predicted increase in height, in centimeters, for every one centimeter increase in the length of the first metacarpal bone"

Metacarpal and left-to-right wrist movement are also blocked.
