It would be great if you could supply a github.com or sourceforge.net, or equivalent account for MaidSafe to review.

MaidSafe are implementing their vision in Rust and knowledge of this new language is an advantage.

The reddit link also questioned how much of MaidSafe is, in effect, security through obscurity.

The company implementing the replacement for much of the Internet’s services is called MaidSafe and they plan a public launch of the platform later this year.

MaidSafe[1] is a similar scheme for data (not CPU cycles) and it does have a currency based on amount shared and a couple of other things.

Seems this would be a cool MaidSafe app to write.

The primary project IMO to keep an eye on is MaidSafe[0], and I'm actually quite surprised how little attention it gets from the community here.

Maidsafe took millions of dollars from people and stil has not come out with a product - even an public MVP after years.

Maidsafe is an interesting idea, but has two serious problems: the transaction algorithm is different from and so may not be as good as Bitcoin.
