Does the author expect everyone to wear the same mock turtleneck, levis, and new balances too?

I agree but Levis did win a case stopping Tesco selling their jeans in the UK.

I think Levis has done a great job (they have reached ubiquity in denim).

I'm currently wearing Levis 514, which according to their website is a straight fit.

For example, most people can wear Levis jeans.

Will Levis always be the dominant brand?

Most of my jeans have pretty small pockets (biggest thing I've noticed with higher end denim is the pockets are much smaller than levis, etc).

I agree with you on the short Levis pockets, real annoying.

I think the olive hunters took over Levis long ago.

Of course there are some pants that have pockets that are just too short for this - I don't wear Levis jeans any more but I seem to remember short little front pockets in those.

I'd love to buy some, but I can guarantee you that the smallest size you have, 28x30, is going to be too large for me; I'm currently wearing a pair of 27x27 Levis because Levis is the only company I've been able to find that makes jeans which fit me.

I've found there isn't usually a massive difference between $20 jeans and $50 jeans (quality-wise) but outside of the crowdfund-model stuff like Gustin (which has really been upping prices lately), it's hard to find something that fits in the gap between $50 Levis and $150-250 designer stuff.

I've bought multiple pairs of the same "number" Levis and they fit completely differently due to how they cut the fabric I guess.
