Malmö's disco taxis with mirrorballs & flashing lights & iPad controlled video jukebox were so much fun.

Like a jukebox, but allows you to skip a certain number of songs per hour.

Years ago Seeburg, the jukebox manufacturer, offered a background music service, using a special record changer which played 1000 songs over and over.

I had to use fucking Musicmatch Jukebox to sync my iPod, and the alternative library programs were even worse.

As a jump-in-and-go library based jukebox, it pretty much has no equal.

In music, the idea is that people like volume and it makes songs stand out on the radio, jukebox, or a test screening so the only way to compete with loudness is more loudness.

Having said that, most pop music is compressed for radio or jukebox these days where all dynamic range is killed in the pursuit of loudness.

The infinite jukebox[0] is another interesting one to look at.

Where it excels is as a simple, clean jukebox.

So they were like a "jukebox" for playing the copyrighted content, streaming it themselves, just like Google's YouTube does.

The analysing part sounds like something "The Infinite Jukebox" [0] must be doing to find suitable paths to jump between.

I know "easier" wasn't the point of this project, I just think the Infinite Jukebox is cool!

The only way to "fix" that would be to charge "Terry" a cent per listen like a jukebox.

The iPod was supported on Windows before iTunes was available through Musicmatch Jukebox, which Apple bundled with Windows iPods.

Windows syncing was done with third party software (Musicmatch Jukebox) iTunes did not have a foothold in the marketplace until after the success of the iPod was evident.
