Aren't there jigs or tools that can automate out the grinding and get a more precise result?

In your woodworking practice, do you use/invent custom jigs to make some of your construction/cutting process faster?

In a good shop, experience is key, since there is still a lot of domain knowledge like tooling and jigs.

They were throwing away prototypes worth thousands of dollars instead of fixing the problem because they didn't have proper reballing machines/jigs.
