InfluxDB query support is in a branch, but don't want to merge until we have a devoted Bosun+InfluxDB maintainer since we don't use it at Stack currently.

For those of you reading this that are interested in getting on InfluxDB 0.9.

Without that fix your CPU is killed because InfluxDB is bcrypting on every request.

I evaluated InfluxDB for an advanced packet capture and processing application and it couldn't handle things very well.

The tagging issue in Telegraf was actually a problem with the InfluxDB client.

I've been waiting a long time for 9.0 and am overall very excited about InfluxDB and Telegraf.

As for Prometheus and InfluxDB, I follow these more closely and have a better understanding of how they operate.

Just for the record, InfluxDB 0.9 seems to actually be production ready now.

I really want to install InfluxDB and Telegraf on the same system, but I don't want to maintain a fork.

Curious if anyone has experienced problems like this in InfluxDB 0.9??

For the issue linked to InfluxDB I assume it was for the client tags.

Also, is Telegraf meant to replace cAdvisor for InfluxDB users?

We were using InfluxDB for web analytics (generated by user interactions such as "viewed page", "viewed product", "refined search", etc.).

That was actually the "make it work" portion: I was attempting to grab some 10 full set prices at a time for a gallery feature and managed to crash the influxdb.
