Hare in a sentence as a noun

The truth of the matter is, Linus doesn't really have time to respond to every hare-brained idea that people have for the kernel. Add to that he's been doing this for a while.

> The terms "psychopath" and "sociopath" are already bywords for "doesn't share my politics or worldview". You can see this clearly in the article and the comments.

Hare in a sentence as a verb

This is very reminiscent to me of all the hare-brained articles about capitalism being dead that came out right around the banking crisis. Yes, things are way screwed up, but capitalism remains.

Marketing to these people is basically selling to the tortoise rather than the hare [1], and success in doing so probably means building that attitude from the inside out. Tortoises aren't very exciting to look at, but there are a lot of them and they are pretty successful in evolutionary terms.

Quote Examples using Hare

If a pineapple challenges a hare to a race, it must be that the pineapple knows some secret trick that will allow it to win. The pineapple probably expects us to root for the hare and then look like fools when it loses, said a crow. Then the pineapple will win the race because the hare is overconfident and takes a nap, or gets lost, or something. The animals agreed that this made sense. There was no reason a pineapple should challenge a hare unless it had a clever plan of some sort.
