First I thought "Nevada Bill" was the name of a gunslinger.

Lots of folks with a business act as if the customer is a gunslinger shooting at their feet to make them dance. We do not.

I guess it’s Elon the gunslinger vs FAA the paperwork monster in a showdown.

Edit: Just want to add I don't have any particular idea how to solve this type of problem, so I'm not trying to condemn you or those in your profession.

The only think I can come up with is its some sort of replacement for the olde gunslinger vengeance of the wild west era which has yet to be civilized. I also think there is an arrogance that says the US is the best country in the world, and how could any one possibly act against it since what ever it does simply must be good, pure and legal.

A historical analogy is the decline of gunslinger/cowboy culture out west a bit more than a century ago. Something to consider is 1000 equal competing gangs each fighting 999 equal competitors means quite an impressive body count, but once MS-13 or "whoever" takes over and there's only one operational gang, the body count will naturally implode.
