I feel like such an uber goober! I was installing a package that relied on a github file, which for obvious reasons failed...

I usually had the money spent before they were even delivered, because I'm a goober. Those, tech decks and magic cards.

We find the one goober who hasn't walked inside of a lab in decades who wants to feel important to give us what we want. Worse is that people envision scientists as unbiased saints.

I do not believe there is any great difference between any of us and some goober fingerpainting on the walls of a cave.

I'm guessing some goober at bluehost just went one step farther than he should have in just removing the one DNS entry, and they definitely should have contacted you. Sounds like poor customer service.

You goober, I was comparing the measurements from 2000 onward. You specifically said the past couple decades.

And/or, you step on a frozen goober, sparkling in the sun. Even to the extent the generalization about a culture is true, there will always be interesting exceptions.

It can lead to cringe moments as an adult, but more crucially I think it leads to fear of cringe moments, so you never really get the chance to fail, look like a goober, and reorient and try again. It also makes it easier to constantly judge other people for social slip ups or for not having a perfectly predictable personality.

Surely you're not leaving your career because last week somebody indirectly caused some poor schmuck to get fired for being a goober at a conference you didn't even attend. Your complaints only make sense if you perceive the situational sum total of the sexism or plain offensiveness as being more similar to this event, rather than seeing this event as an anomaly.

Partly because few if any static generators talk to clients over a TCP socket; mostly, I suspect, because people tend to hear "static site generator" and immediately think "oh, boy, here's another goober who's going to try to push his bizarre little pile of shell scripts on me."
