enlive

The Enlive scraping/templating library for Clojure can be used in a pretty novel way to generate templates.

The thing about enlive/enliven is that the markup and the logic are completely separated.

It still amazes me that something like Enlive hasn't popped up in other languages/frameworks.

The author should've mentioned enlive (you got a similar library that supports om) which allows html to be html, which should make designers happy.

So I'm using Enlive to define selectors and the generator uses theses selectors to fill the content into the html structure.

There's also kioo if you like the enlive approach better.

OneScript has neither of the things that I like about enlive or reagent.

My favourite templating system is enlive[1] (or enliven[2]).

You could also do something less silly like share your templates (maybe via hiccup and its many cljs implementations or via enlive/enforce/kioo (or via Soy, or anything else really)).

I have several apps that use Enlive for templating.

There are also other libraries for doing the templating if you prefer hiccup[3] or enlive[4] style templates, which I find a bit more readable than straight function calls.

I hate them, moustache/ctemplate style templates are an excellent attempt to remove logic from them but why not just go all the way towards an enlive style if you recognize this benefit?

Enlive and now Kioo are elegant solutions to the problem of letting designers and programmers work independently.

Currently it consumes Hiccup-style markup, but we hope to add Enlive- and Om-style interfaces in the future.

Or you go with Om[0] and use EDN[1], Enlive-style[2] or hiccup-style[3] tempting.
