If you live in NYC or SF, there are dozens of conferences you can attend every week.

Isn't it sexism all the same", "imagine if someone make a 'male founders conference'?

All the time--in offices, conferences, churches, cafes, restaurants, bars ... you name it.

I do NOT believe that ANY conference attendees should have to sit idly by and listen to penis jokes.

I am hard-pressed to name a conference I've attended where one of these "borderline" sexist issues hasn't happened.

This particular conference had an amazing volunteer crew that had been together for years, many of whom had serious day jobs: brilliant designers, high-tech executives, etc. Knowing that the volunteers were gems, I knew that how the famous conference speakers treated them was all about the speakers.
