Graf von Faber Castell uses same feeds with Faber Castell pens.

Most of Diamine's collection, Kaweco, Montblanc, Graf von Faber Castell and Waterman comes in international standard cartridges too.

Pilot and Faber Castell are close followers, but Lamy becomes something sublime as you use it more.

Yes, these museums are geeky fun:-) same goes for Faber Castell in Stein close to Nuremberg, Germany; there you can also get a tour in contemporary production.

Preferably something 5-6", with W1/W2 scales as seen on the Faber-Castell 62/83N...

I've also reverted back to pencil, which I find more "quiet" a medium - I've been using Faber Castell's sleek TK4600 since elementary school, and it was quite interesting to return to it a couple of decades later.

If you mean popular as in attractive that is surely the Faber-Castell short 83N series, I think that's a 62/83N.

Faber-Castell had new-old stock in the mid 20-teens, but they ran out (of stock or patience) around 2016–2018.

Also, Pilot's and Graf von Faber Castell's gold nibs are great and soft.
