A lot of product search sites seem to have lower prices than Bountii because they don't include shipping.

Overall I think Bountii had much better results once I got past all the mounts and brackets and stands.

I'd go further and say that this is a shady blog post from the Bountii crew.

Relative to froogle bountii does a much better job of sticking to results that actually matter (froogle had a nice price for a plasma in Yorkshire and for one that didn't turn on).

I can only remember being constrained by our policy once, when a group we interviewed had an idea I thought would be useful to Bountii (I think it was).

After interviewing for PriceAdvance we were concerned that YC would mention our idea to Bountii as it's in a similar vein.

Even more entertaining was that one of the guys from Bountii was at YC prior to our interview answering questions for pre-interviewees =) What OS / FireFox version are you getting an error on?

(This happened with the test searches Techcrunch did, and they mistakenly concluded that Bountii was not the best.) Maybe the Bountiis should break down the prices into product and shipping when they display them...

I have a brilliant suggestion for Bountii's theme song/catchphrase: "The quicker picker-upper, Bountii!" The rational being it surely helps pick up some great deals online.

Bountii has got great product images and they're not front and center to arouse my inner consumer?

Obviously, there's substantial overlap between you and Bountii, although that may have nothing to do with why you were not funded.
