At 7Tev a collision between 2 protons has enough energy to create over 3,500 proton anti-proton pairs.

The neutron will decay into a proton by emitting and electron, while the anti-neutron will decay into an anti-proton while emitting a positron.

There are some serious anti-proton-vibes in this thread, so just my 2 cents as a paying customer: I'm rather happy with their service.

When an anti-hydrogen atom collides with any normal atom an electron will annihilate with the anti-hydrogen's positron leaving behind a negatively charged anti-proton which will fairly rapidly collide with a positively charged proton in a nucleus.

They cut production time to a given number of anti-atoms from 10 weeks to 7 hours by improving the electron cooling, just from this fact it is a bit rich to insist the anti-proton generation is the limiting factor.

Antimatter definitely exists, it is detectable, and used; e.g, PET scans use positrons (anti-electrons), and there have been experiments (only in animal models last I knew) with anti-proton radiotherapy for cancers.
