As a fan of Allulose et al, my peeve is when the box says No Sugar Added but the nutritional label clearly states that the product is mostly date powder.

It's really hard to get Allulose (sugar alternative with similar properties benefitting baking); As far as I can tell it's not actually "illegal" in Europe, it's just not approved as a food, so no-one risks importing it..

Costco sells 2 large 140 gummie jars for 29 bucks (46 servings) where I live and the "wholesome, non-gmo pure allulose" brand is available from iherb for 19 bucks for 80 daily servings, which puts the cost of this regime ~86 cents a day.

Allulose is a sugar your body doesn't metabolize like sucrose.

Allulose seems promising, I'd love to find some pop sweetened with it.

Allulose came out as the winner (if money is no object) based on not having any noticeable off-taste or aftertaste and on measuring gram-for-gram the same as sugar (well sort of, it's only like 80% as sweet as sugar, so you get the same mechanical effects of sugar if you weigh it gram-for-gram and your baked goods or whatever come out not quite as sweet, which is perfect for me.
