I watch talking head shows where they still say that Ahmadinejad said "Israel should be wiped off the map".

In particular the "wiped off the map" Ahmadinejad quote has long been proven a mistranslation and yet is still pushed by the warmongers years after the fact.

On the other hand, I'm already sick of the only offered alternative, the emerging "multipolar world" fraternity of Ahmadinejad, Putin, Chavez et al.

BTW, Vice-Premier Shimon Peres did threaten Iran just after the Ahmadinejad brouhaha: "The president of Iran should remember that Iran can also be wiped off the map." -- The Jerusalem Post (2006-05-09).

Ahmadinejad never said that, though ironically it was an Iranian news agency that mistranslated him.

Indeed: Ahmadinejad's supporters have released photoshopped images showing that the rallies supporting the regime are bigger than they are in reality.
