Or sold to the daily mail and other hypocritical smut pedlars

This problem was so bad that after only a couple pages of porn gifs on Tumblr i had to open Chrome to keep the smut going.

Humans being human are likely to stop searching as soon as they find the smut, and miss what you might be really hiding.

A long time ago I was travelling in a country where they require smut filters in internet cafes.

This is an old argument but: most internet filters only filter for smut and not violence.

The point is that they can get very loud and insistent and they might go on TV saying that "Apple distributes smut" and whatnot.

But I'd imagine the vast majority of the population want to view pornography without putting their name on a smut-list.

However when something like this comes along, suddely politicans are disciplined, determined, principled fighters of smut who can get their way....

I honestly have no problems wit this as long as the default is unfiltered, and any blocks and filters are opt inBut we already have that in the form of installable software that blocks online smut.
