In order to be fair to everyone who applies, you can send them a work-sample test.

He's saying to ignore the resume, have objectively evaluated work-sample tests.

I find that suggestion much more distasteful than having relevant work-sample tests.

Note that our work-sample tests are, not-insanely, done in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace, on your own schedule, and represent the work we actually do.

I was simply telling the parent commenter, if the work-sample stuff we did at Matasano sounded fun, the thing we're doing now basically extracts and amplifies all the fun we think was in that process and opens it to the public.
