Can you name these soaps which supposedly have antibacterials added to them (like triclosan) that don't list it?

When my mother had a bone marrow transplant, the hospital used triclosan to disinfect anyone entering her room.

There is some evidence that triclosan, and ingredient in antibacterial liquid soaps, might be an endocrine disrupter.

But a regular bars of soap don't contain triclosan, so you can soap up if you want.

And if you look hard enough, you can find soap that doesn't have antibacterial chemicals (no triclosan).

A bit of a tangent, but it's really a shame that triclosan use is still so ubiquitous in the United States.

It's an interesting article although perhaps a little early to conclude that Triclosan is bad.

That's funny because the only reason I buy Colgate Total is because it's the only toothpaste with triclosan.

I now make it a point to look and make sure products I'm buying do not include triclosan.

There are already a number of other concerns about the negative effects of triclosan.

Unless you know what triclosan is (I didn't), there's no reason to believe you are buying antibacterial toothpaste.

I didn't know Colgate had triclosan until I read it in another article about antibacterial soaps and their risks.

Crest also says "Antigingivitis", but they accomplish that with stannous fluoride rather than something like triclosan.

"Method" hand soap has no triclosan in it.

The debate about whether using Triclosan-containing soap while caring for patients is appropriate is occurring in the medical field.

[Note: I'm not the guy you're asking and this isn't meant to be any kind of advice -- dental or otherwise] My dentist told me that Colgate Total was better at killing plaque-creating bacteria due to its use of Triclosan.
