Thence in a sentence as an adverb

Slashdot, some time ago, had a link to an article "A Plan for Spam" that led me to Paul's essays, and thence to here.

They import money into their bank account and thence to whatever community they happen to live in at the moment.

Apparently that's a common enough misapprehension that they mentioned it in a song... thence the quoted lyric.

Since we're dealing with existentials, there's also a strong resemblance and possibly even a full morphism to first-class modules, thence to type-classes and instances...
