Surely having parity striping and ditto blocks both is better than just ditto blocks pretending to be parity striping.

With NFSv4.1, you can use parallel nfs, which is essentially striping reads and writes over multiple nfs servers.

For example striping objects and using grade up to make a concordance or annotate any other data structure.
