If you grew up in the 1960's & 70's, you may have had a View-Master 3-D stereoscope.

I wonder if someone has developed a stereoscope interface to Google Earth?

You could literally tape any modern cell phone to any 150 year old stereoscope and you'd have Google Cardboard, or USC's equivalent.
