ossington

I'm in Liberty Village where I never notice any issues and bus from there, up past King/Shaw, Queen/Ossington, Dundas/Ossington to Ossington Station.

Once you get south of Dundas it gets very lively, but the northern stretch of Ossington is a bit bleak, as someone who has also run a lot in that neighbourhood.

(The Rooster, piri piri chicken place at bloor/ossington) I get the sense on the street that the credibility of these orders and the authority behind them is diminishing.

I must confess, I looked at the map, looked at the streets, and even though I know exactly where that is as I live at Ossington and Dundas, my brain took spadina crescent on that map and somehow anchored it as the area next to the U of T circle to the east, so in my mind the map was all around the AGO...

Unlike West Queen West (Ossington & Dundas hood), SF has not tried to pretty up their shelters etc.

Ossington has basically no street life from Bloor to Dundas.

Ossington would probably have decent street life.

There are some shitty parts in the suburbs, but lots of nice areas (downtown, Kensington market, Bloor West / Ossington, Summerville, Moore Park, High Park, Entertainment district) and it isn't too pricey ($1500 / month for a 1 bedroom down town).

Unlike West Queen West (Ossington & Dundas hood), SF has not tried to pretty up their shelters etc.
