My preferred web browser (Einkbro) easily consumes 10x the power of Neoreader (Onyx's ebook reader software).

Nokia phones have come with QR readers stock for a few years now, and Sony Ericsson's Android phones come with NeoReader preinstalled.

NeoReader (Onyx's book reader app) also has a lightbox / page preview mode where you can see 4, 9, or 16 pages at once.

I just don’t think the panels are ready for that The main apps I use as a result are Tachiyomi, the included boox neoreader, and kuro reader for vertical scrolling and some formats neoreader struggles with.

It's instead hugely preferable to either read them on Einkbro or use that browser's print-to-PDF or print-to-ePub[2] features and then read content directly via Onyx's bookreader software (NeoReader).

I've used FBReader, PocketBook (who sell their own ebook readers as well apparently), the NeoReader (default Onyx software), and have some familiarity with Kindle.

Apps are actually quite good (NeoReader).

I've also played around with KOReader, which works very well, too -- I'm just more used to NeoReader at this point, so I haven't switched over.

Onyx's most recent image update (as of a couple of days ago) has some improvements in image display which apply to its book reader (NeoReader), and seem to be an improvement.

I use the built in ereader software, called NeoReader.

I tend to use dedicated e-ink apps (such as Onyx's own NeoReader book reader), apps tuned for E-ink such as Einkbro, a Web browser, or terminal-based apps which work well in a text-based context.

But as an example of what a great reading experience on epaper can be, I'd refer you to Neoreader from Boox, the default reading app on their platform, which has excellent support for epub, comic books/manga, and PDFs.

The stock bookreader software ("Neoreader") is good at reading, less so at organising (more below).

Even on my 13" e-ink reader, these can be a challenge, and I'll occasionally resort to a sub-page rendering (this is natively supported in the Onyx NeoReader and several other e-book readers).

The default bookreader (Neoreader) is good, and has zoom-and-pan modes for reading large-page and/or small-type documents.

I do make use of handwritten notes as well, both in documents (Neoreader) and in the notetaking app.

Its bookreader, Neoreader, is quite good.
