When I have a bunch of pdfs, firefox tabs are easier to manage than evince windows.

And for apps that do have a subset of the bindings--they are almost worse than having no bindings at all; evince has hjkl, but no gg/G, etc.

On Linux, inotify, pdflatex, and evince combine in the expected way.

The menu item "Document Viewer" was actually "evince.
